I can’t believe he’s one. One year ago, Nate and I were in Jacksonville holding a two day old Henry Charles, our newest nephew! This one changed my life even more, because it was in holding Henry that something clicked in me and my husband that if we really wanted this in our future someday, something had to change. The 3-4 week trips to Florida (from our home in Nashville) weren’t going to cut it with a newborn. We needed to accept that our Tennessee dream didn’t play out like we’d hoped, but that’s ok. Florida was home and we needed to make some major life changes.

That particular three week trip began with holding Henry, we photographed 4 weddings in 4 cities in Florida, and met with a realtor as soon as we got home. I will always be thankful for all of our nephews, but this one will forever hold an extra soft spot for me!

Happy birthday, Henry Bear, and I’m so glad we got to celebrate YOU!

Our visit with these guys ended like all the rest- Drinks around Epcot and Hall crashing after Illuminations. <3 We love you guys!!!!! Come home soon!!! :)
